Rev. Nancy J. Seaberg is an ordained, non-denominational minister, who performs weddings
in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. She is a member of the Association of Wedding Planners and a certified wedding planner.
Nancy enjoys performing traditional Christian weddings as well as officiating at weddings for couples with diverse backgrounds,
incorporating each couple's uniqueness and wishes into their ceremony. Intimate small weddings of two are as important to
her as the large gala affairs shared with numerous family and friends. She respects each couple's wishes, culture, religious
beliefs, and budgets.
Nancy has done extensive research on weddings and vows for the various religions and cultures.
She has a network of wedding professionals and resources at her fingertips in the D/FW area. Just ask her, should you need
a referral or suggestion.
A wedding ceremony is a universally-shared legal, religious, and cultural observance.
It is a time when two people stand in front of their family and friends to claim their commitment to one another. It is a
powerful and magical act that transforms their lives forever.
Various religions wedding ceremonies are surprisingly
similar. Traditionally, the guests are welcomed, and the couple's intent is publicly acknowledged. Vows are said, and rings
are usually, but not always, exchanged. Unless it is a civil ceremony, God is asked to bless this marriage. Readings, unity
ceremony, music, or other variations are often included. Finally, there is the kiss, the declaration of marriage, and the
presentation of the newly united couple!
It is a very simple, tender service, which takes on a magical feeling!
Each wedding ceremony is unique. They may use Nancy's vows, or they may choose their own. She is happy to assist them with
their choices. Children are encouraged to participate, especially when the bridal couple has children. They bring the spontanaeity
and innocense that truly provides precious memories. Please feel free to discuss ways to do this.
